NWA PMI Chapter Election

On December 31, 2015, the terms of four of the nine members of the current NWA-PMI Governing Board will come to an end.  These positions are:  VP Programs, VP Finance, VP Communication, and VP Membership.  In September 2016, the Northwest Arkansas PMI Chapter will elect four members to its Governing Board, one each to serve a two-year term starting January, 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2018 to fill these positions.   Only members in good standing shall be permitted to hold any elected or appointed voting office on the NWA-PMI Board. In addition, NWA-PMI members are reminded that Officers shall be eligible to serve only two (2) consecutive terms in the same office.  Terms of office for the Officers shall be two (2) years, and limited to two (2) consecutive terms in the same position and no more than five (5) consecutive terms on the Board in general.  It is also preferred that they hold a current PMP credential.

Nominations are hereby solicited by the NWA-PMI Nominating Committee from the membership for the Governing Board.  Nominations for the Governing Board should be submitted by e-mail to the Nominating Committee at (members listed below).  

Nominations for the open positions will appear, along with the candidates nominated through any other acceptable means, on the ballot of the 2016 NWA-PMI Election.  In order to assure that the election is conducted in a timely fashion, complete ballot information for candidates so nominated must be provided by August 8, 2016


All nominations are requested to be accompanied by a brief bio about the candidate, along with an acknowledgement that the candidate has read the Bylaws fully, and agrees to comply with the position which they are running for.  Candidates should be sure to state the specific position for which they are running.  The Nominating Committee will confirm with the candidate their qualifications and intentions. We look forward to hearing from all qualified candidates very soon, and please make sure to contact the Nominating Committee identified below with any question.

The NWA PMI Chapter is proud to announce all new PMPs.  Many graduated from the NWA PMI Exam Prep Course.  Others studied on their own or through other private and commercial class offerings.  In the end, however, everybody passed!
